At your Palm Cove Service Apartment stay, you need only bring items of a personal nature. Everything else is here for you, like a home away from home, including a selection of popular DVDs and CDs, games, beach towels even mobile phones are available for hire… although after a few days here, home will be the farthest thing from your mind!
 
What should I pack for my holiday?

Tropical north Queensland enjoys a warm climate all year round, so we recommend you pack comfortable lightweight clothing for day and evening. All restaurants in Palm Cove have a very relaxed policy on dress regulations. For evening, men should wear shorts and a collared shirt; and ladies should wear a summer dress or casual trousers and sandals.

Most importantly, pack your swimsuits, sunscreen and hat, and some lightweight shoes to protect your feet if you intend to go exploring the reef.
 
How do I get from Cairns International Palm Cove Serviced Apartments?

Palm Cove Serviced Apartments is located approximately 20 km from Cairns International Airport. The taxi fare from the airport is approximately A$38.00, and limousine transfers start around A$52.00. Rental cars are available from the airport or in Palm Cove.

If you would like transportation to be arranged for you, then please ensure you advise when making your Internet booking with us.

 
What do I do when I arrive at Palm Cove

Anne Rauch, our On Site Guest Hostess (ph: 0403 252 112) will meet and greet you on arrival. If you are making your own way to the apartments at Palm Cove, Anne will meet you on site ie: Mango Lagoon Resort & Wellness Spa, 81-85 Cedar Rd. Palm Cove North Queensland.

If you have ordered groceries and beverages for your arrival, Anne will have them packed away and in the refrigerator for your arrival.

Please advise Anne in advance of your likely arrival time.

What happens if something goes wrong during my stay?

In case of emergency, is available by phone 24 hours a day during your stay. You will find various emergency numbers located in your Palm Cove Serviced Apartment

 
Is the apartment serviced during my stay?

As serviced apartments we are endeavoring to keep our costs down and pass on the savings to you and therefore able to provide affordable accommodation. The apartments do have a washing machine, clothes
dryer and dishwasher and general cleaning utensils etc for self servicing. Towels and Linen are changed every 3rd day.

Daily towel changing and if you require a daily housekeeping service (including making the beds, sweep the floor etc,) this can be arranged and charged out at our budget rates.

 
Can I charge meals and services to my room account?

No. Palm Cove Serviced Apartments is not affiliated with the company that owns the management rights for the rest of the complex, therefore items such as drinks, meals, spa treatments must the paid directly to the provider as you go. Tours can be charged to your room with bookings made through our local Marketing & Management Agent: The Tour Specialists.

Is Palm Cove Serviced Apartments facilities
child-friendly?

Yes. For families, the apartment has everything you will need. The resort has 4 large pools, one of which is a sandy lagoon style which makes it especially safe for toddlers. Apartments with their own private courtyard are fitted with a child-proof gate to the pool area to keep the little ones in. CDs and DVDs are available in the apartment free of charge, and the range allows something for the whole family. A portacot can be made available upon request. If a 2 bedroom apartment is being shared between 2 couples, the single beds can be locked together forming a King Bed.

Wheel Chair friendly?


Yes. The ground floor 2 Bedroom apartments are wheel chair friendly having a level area and wider doorways and shower facility to cater for wheelchair guests.
